Here are some of my proof that Tobi is not Madara.
1. Some retards claim that Minato/4th Hokage said that Tobi is Madara! What chapter did he said that!?
- No name was mentioned!
- Nope, that wasn’t pain!
- Once again, no name was mentioned!
- NO NAME WAS EVER MENTIONED! EVER!
Now, where’s the name? Minato did not call Tobi Madara! Just read the whole Chapter 44o! So all of you who are saying that Minato claimed that Tobi was Madara.. oh well.. LIARS GO TO HELL! (haha!)
2. When Kabutomaru (I call him that coz Kabuto is already eaten up by Orochimaru’s cells, sounds cool right? haha!) finally found Tobi he said.. ” I would come greet you, Tobi. Excuse me, you go by madara these days, don’t you?”
- Kabutomaru meets Tobi!
Now, what do you mean by.. “EXCUSE ME, YOU GO BY MADAR A THESE DAYS DONT YOU?” It’s like Kabuto knows something that the rest of the characters and readers don’t!
- The gang is back! except for Hidan… he’s still alive that’s why he can’t be revived.
3. Then, after Kabuto revived Nagato, Kakuzu , Deidara, Sasori, and Itachi.. he revived someone unknown that totally disturbed Tobi!
- Who’s in the coffin!? ^_^
- as I’ve said.. DISTURBED! 0_0
Now just who is this mind blowing mistery guy that Kabuto revived? Could it be the 3rd hokage? Could it be the 1st? Nope! coz those guys were already shown in the series and there’s no need for surprise boxes coz it will just disappoint the fans! Well actually there are only 3 persons that I think would shock Madara (IF Tobi was Madara), the 1st Hokage, his brother Izuna, and The sage of six paths. But the 1st Hokage was already sealed by the the 3rd’s DEATH GOD technique (but there’s still a small possibility coz Kabuto said that he surpassed the previous users of kutchiyose edo tensei). So I guess it’s either Izuna or The Sage. But it could also be THE REAL MADARA that Kabuto ressurected that’s why Tobi was shocked coz his jig was up!
4. When Minato asked Tobi if he really was Madara he’s answer was not confirming Minato’s question!
- Even the 4th Hokage don’t know who Tobi is!
If Tobi was Madara he should’ve just said YES! But nooo.. he didn’t! (yeah yeah he claimed he is madara at present but back then he didn’t)
5. As we all know when a ninja uses his Eye technique to control or to summon, their eye technique reflects! For example when Sasuke controlled Manda, his eyes reflected on Manda! And when Pain summons, his eyes reflect on his summons!
Let’s see what Madara’s Sharingan/Mangekyou/Eternal Mangekyou looked like and compare it to Tobi’s.

See.. when Tobi’s eyes reflected on the kyuubi, the design was different! The pupils were enlarged and the side designs are pushed to the corners that it’s hardly visible! There’s a big diff in their sharingans and its obvious!
Okay, so in the end we dont really know who Tobi is! It’s either he’s a fake or an incomplete Madara. If he’s a fake Madra.. then he’s a good copy cat! But until Kishi releases an episode that will confirm that Tobi is Madara (I mean like.. show his freak’n damn face) I’ll stick to my opinion!
So these are just some of my opinions backed up with some evidence. It’s up to you to believe or not. Hope you’ve been enlightened!

Great site! I’m hoping and praying Tobi is really not Madara but an imposter, I personally like Tobi as his own seperate character. I think since Madara has confirmed he is Madara there is no reason to conceal his face, ESPECIALLY since he’s all powerful, why would he worry? After not being blocked by darkness he doesn’t have to worry about reverting his sharingan to those three “petals” either but he can maintain the eternal sharingan.

there is also one more proof. In the same chapter (i think) when kabuto uses edo tensei to revive the ‘mistery guy’, after tobi accepts kabuto’s offer, kabuto says “Uchiha Madara…you truly are in your one league”, and tobi answers: “WISE GUY…”. That would mean that kabuto said something as a joke, which must be the fact that he IS NOT actually madara!

i think you are right and im feeling 100% sure tobi is not madara, especially when i saw zetsu white half cloned every ninja in the allied shinobi forces and in that same chapter where sakura and shizune got the dna of the white zetsu and confirmed that it was an entity born from hashirama senju’s cell and tsunade commenting that madara might used the body of the first hokage, making him immortal, it made me think that what if tobi was just a mere clone of madara uchiha.. and amassing the tailed beast to compensate for its flaws. because clones are relatively weaker than the original.

Tobi talk to Kisame, and he took off his mask. Kisame said: former 4th mizukage.. no.. madara… i kinda think that his face might be mizukage and kisame look at the face of mizukage but somehow know that it was madara.
another thing is.. rmb what tobi talked naruto… he explain his story as madara. his eternal battle with senju clan… not even a history mentioned in konoha… it was secretly battled between uchiha and senju, so an uchiha or senju might know. i dont see any senju around now, but for uchiha, madara was the descendant of the fight, and he had no pass it to another generation yet, so itachi sasuke and others wouldnt know. so somehow i kinda think he is madara.

Why wouldn’t anyone trying to guess that.. Perhaps Tobi is Konohagakure Nidaime ( Tobirama Senju ) since the Tobi guy reveal his 1st name “Tobi”.. Haha.. Well it just my guess but I think its possible for some reasons..
1) We don’t know much about the details of Nidaime Hokage..
2) Even he is Senju clan, but they both are the descendants of The Sage of Six Path, so he may strive for more power and transplant the Sharingan to himself as own use vice versa..
3) As Danzo is one of Nidaime’s comrades during the war time, he is quite familiar with Danzo and seems quite interesting in the battle between Sasuke and Danzo, and would like to retrieve the Ultimate Sharingan of Uchiha Shisui..
4) When the Sharingan is with him, he never even use the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan once, even he meets his death in the battle with Konan..
Just a guess anyway, if it were true I will lmao.. xD

intresting theory. with new chapter it becomes more plausible. because sage tried to give peace to the world, he became dissillusioned at constant war and tried to ‘force’ them to peace.
Howver fox was too much (or only one) that he couldnt control properly and was weakest when trying to control it (strongest part of ten tails) so everytime that spoiled his plans (the first could control fox by controling wood, fourth also disturbed him when he was controlling fox)
Also the reason he is confident and thinks he will be able to defeat 10 tails… it all fits very nicely with this theory now, as madara is ressurected from dead

For all of you who think Tobi is Madara, you are incorrect. In the current chapter of Naruto (Chapter 559), it’s revealed that the 6th coffin is actually the body of Madara and that Tobi is someone else. Who could it be, time will only tell, but Madara is definitely not Tobi. It is uncertain who else may have a Sharingan, unless Izuna was never killed or some other explanation.

Dudes Tobi is Obito Uchiha! 1: look Tobi’s hairstyle and Obito’s hairstyle its the same…..2:When Obito give his sharingann to Kakashi he give the left eye, so look at Tobi’s mask….why the fuck mask have only one hole for RIGHT eye, because he gived the left eye to Kakashi in past…….In history Madara always have 2 sharingann eyes, but why in Tobi’s mask dont have 2 holes for both eyes?Simple because Tobi is not Madara….Tobi(Obito) have only one sharinngan eyes couse other is on kakashi.

Could be that Tobi is a high class zetsu/clone made by Madara from his own DNA before he died. So Madara is truely dead and Tobi is an intelligent clone made from madara’s cells.

people… just because the OP (blog owner) happened to be right in the end, we shouldn’t toss aside the fact that his assumptions were based on faulty logic. he’s hardly the first person to not believe that tobi is not the original madara uchiha, and his work isn’t praise worthy.
1. nothing wrong with this part. minato never actually calls tobi madara. not exactly proof that he’s not, but it does point out a lack of proof that he is.
2. considering that kabuto and orochimaru both have previous ties to akatsuki and that tobi has obviously been around akatsuki for quite some time even if he “wasn’t a member”, kabuto’s comment could easily just be referring to the fact that he has at this point in the story stopped going by tobi and claimed publicly to be madara uchiha. this is hardly even a reason to doubt the claim that he’s madara much less proof. (side note regarding “kabutomaru”: if you were going to make up a combination name for him it might have been better to use the part of orochimaru’s name that references snakes: “orochi”. also, you assume he’s been taken over by orochimaru’s cells as opposed to living in some sort of mutual or commensal symbiosis. i’m still not convinced.)
3. is a good theory. there are only so many people that could have been in that casket that would shock tobi (whether he was the original madara or not) and the original madara’s body was not out of the question. this is probably why most people that did began to doubt that tobi was really madara in the first place.
4. have you never heard of lying? isn’t deception a big part of being a ninja? you asked why, if he was really madara, didn’t he just confirm minato’s suspicions, but i see no reason he would. again, not proof, though this is at least a decent reason to suspect he might not actually be madara.
5. this one is my favorite because the chapter that show’s that your conclusion was ultimately right is also the one that points out the glaring flaw in your logic. if you look at the sharingan in the resurrected madara’s eye in chapter 559 you’ll see it is the same as the sharingan in tobi’s and the kyuubi’s eyes when tobi controls it.
the point is that even though your conclusion was correct, thinking like this isn’t likely to work out for you consistently.

..well, that could be one thing. I mean Madara’s always hiding his “right eye” cause of his hair LOL. it is also a possibility that madara’s eternal mangekyo was only on his left eye. since in the manga he took Izuna’s eyes and Madara’s hands on Izuna’s Left Eye. So it could be Izuna.
